This was the number one guy in my life for the longest period of time. He taught me to look into a persons heart to see if they are really who they say they are. He told me that I deserve to be treated like a princess. Most importantly, he taught me to wait. "Good things come to those who wait" is what he used to always remind me. I knew that he loved me because he showed me everyday, and yes I was and still am a major daddy's girl. I love my father with every fiber in my being. I respect, honor and appreciate him. He taught me about God as a small child, and prepared me that with God life will be so much easier. As the women that I am today, I now know that he was right in so many ways and I thank God for him everyday. "I love you, daddy!"
Tymeshia,
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely picture! In addition to your words, your eyes in this picture truly shows how much admiration and love you have for your father. What a blessing.

How special it is to have a loving male role model in your life, especially your father. The smile on your face, I know makes him smile.
ReplyDeleteVery nice,

I can relate to your close relationship with your brother, and certainly to your appreciation of your mother. I enjoyed the relationships you shared on your childhood web! Very heart-warming!
