Louise said "Working with children is a good way to fix all injustices that were placed upon them."
Raymond said, "I'm not trying to save the world, just one child."
Sandy said, "This is a great way to help shape a child's life."
Renetta said, "I owe it to my parents (the children's parents) to take my ego out of the picture and present them with my best work."
Leticia said, "Passion can be viewed upon in two ways: personal and professional. The personal side looks at who are you as a person? The professional side asks what has experience taught you? Everyone's story is different and very unique."
Listening to each of the five professionals speak, really made me sit and think about what inspires and motivates me as a early educator. As Raymond stated that he was not trying to save the world, just one child, there are times when we feel like we want to help all the children and families in need, but in reality we are off to a great start by providing the best education experiences humanly possible!
